Every Saturday a group of designers will place an item marked down to 60L in front of their mainstore. The item will be available from 12am SLT on Saturday until 11:59pm SLT on Saturday. All the designers are going to put up a totally new product or something from their store list. Each week we are going to give you the opportunity to discover new and great designers with gorgeous products.

This week’s Super Bargain Saturday item at Awesome Blossom is the Hanging Flutterbies. These whimsical butterflies come in a set of 3, rotate slowly and weight in at 4 prims each (12 prims total) and are just 60L!

Hurry though! This item will be available FOR ONLY 60L through midnight tonight (Saturday July 31st) at the Awesome Blossom mainstore! After today it will be sold at it’s regular price.

The Pemberley Mailbox for Super-Bargain Saturday

New at Awesome Blossom this week for Super-Bargain Saturday is The Pemberley Mailbox. This particular build is very special to me as it was inspired by a place here in SL that is very near and dear to my heart. The Pemberley Mailbox is color change with 3 color options (blue, yellow and pink) and has 3 animated sits. The mailbox is also scripted so people can “send” you mail. To do this, all the person needs to do is drag and drop a notecard, etc., from their inventory into your mailbox. To retrieve your mail, just touch the mailbox and it will “deliver” the item directly to your inventory.

Summer of Love Fair 2010

Awesome Blossom is honored to be a part of the Summer of Love Fair 2010! The SOL Fair which runs from July 18th-August 8th will feature brand new EXCLUSIVE items from some of your favorite Second Life designers. You can find clothing, skins, hair, poses, accessories and more at the fair.. but that’s not all.

The purpose of this fair is twofold… firstly, FASHION. Who doesn’t love a good fashion event? Brand new items, some at discount rates, all in one glorious place. Lovely. Secondly though, there will be information about all sorts of mental health issues and illnesses throughout the venue. Mostly these will be visual aids around the precious couture so that people don’t have to read huge chunks of text. The main purpose of the fair is to de-stigmatise mental health issues. A lot of people in Second Life have unhappy “real lives”… for whatever reason. Some of us are unwell, disabled, depressed and other people are just lonely or don’t like who they think they are; but no one is alone and in SL we can be ourselves. So don’t let it beat you black and blue… couture can help!

You can grab the ALL NEW EXCLUSIVE Flutterby Ring NOW and only at the Summer of Love Fair! The ring comes in 4 colors (red, blue, yellow and green) as well as a texture change version that includes 2 bonus colors (violet and orange). While you’re there be sure to pick up the freebie as well and make sure you take a look at all of the visual aids that are scattered throughout the fair. While we all love our fashion, the event is aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues in Second Life, as well as out. That being said, happy shopping!

It’s double the goodies this week at Awesome Blossom for Super-Bargain Saturday. Since I couldn’t decide which set to put out, I decided to go wild and put both sets out. You can get both the Old Wrinkled Rug and Antique Hanging Paper Lights as well as the Antique Corner Hutch with accessories for just 60L each!
